Program Overview
Join us for an exciting week at the Alebrijes Summer Camp, where children will explore Latinx culture through a variety of enriching activities. Each day is packed with crafting, science experiments, nature exploration, games, and cultural lessons. Your child will make new friends, create lasting memories, and learn about the diverse cultures within the Latinx diaspora. The week concludes with a vibrant Family Fiesta, where campers showcase what they've learned.
Daily Itinerary:
- 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM: Sensory Table (Grounding)
- 10:15 AM - 10:25 AM: Affirmations
- 10:30 AM - 11:40 AM: Lesson & Activity
- 11:40 AM - 12:00 PM: Reflection & Open Discussion

Themed Activities
- Piñata Day: Kick off the summer exploring colors, textures, and self-love!
- Tortilla Day: Learn how to make tortillas and discover how different Latin cultures enjoy them.
- Movement Day: Get active through dance and movement.
- Aguas Frescas Day: Find delicious and nutritious alternatives to sugary beverages.
- Elementos Day: Connect to our roots through the four elements and create an altar to honor ourselves and our ancestors.
- Alebrijes Day + Family Fiesta Day: Use imagination to create your very own Alebrijes that can help with understanding and processing emotions. Plus, we're throwing a Family Fiesta to end the program with a bang. Bring your loved ones and join in on the fun with all our participants - it's going to be an unforgettable experience!
